Terms & Conditions

1. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering the competition, you accept these conditions.

2. Entry is open to any individual aged 18 years or over except employees and their immediate families of Eight Hotels Australia (EHA) and the agencies or companies associated with the competition. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain their parent / guardian's permission to enter.

3. The competition starts at 4th of December 2009 and closes on the 18th of April 2010. (Competition Period). All times AEST.

4. To enter, during the Competition Period, tell us "in which city the Eiffel Tower is located" and provide your details (including name, address, phone number and email address) during your stay by filling in the competition form available at the Diamant Hotel Canberra.

5. Only one entry per person accepted.

6. All valid entries will be entered into the competition. EHA accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

7. EHA may deem entries not complying with these terms and conditions invalid. This is a game of skill. Each valid entry will be individually judged. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. In consideration for awarding the prize to the winners, the winners agree to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consents to their name and image being used in promotional material.

9. The best valid entry as determined by the judges will win a trip for two to Paris. This includes return  economy flights for two persons from their Capital City, Seven (7) nights accommodation at the Eight Residence Paris, a self-contained apartment in Paris central, Two (2) tickets to the Musee D'Orsay in Paris.

10. The winner/s will be notified via email. If your contact details change during the Competition Period, it is your responsibility to notify EHA.

11. EHA may disqualify invalid entries from this competition or the entries of any person who tampers with or benefits from the tampering with the entry process or the conduct of the competition or who has, in EHA's opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of NAB. EHA may cancel, suspend or vary the competition if for any reason it is not capable of being conducted as planned.

12. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the prize within the timeframe set by EHA, the winner will forfeit that part. EHA accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value. If a prize is unavailable, EHA will substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

13. EHA may request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of EHA.

14. The prize/s must be claimed by the guest otherwise that winner will forfeit the prize and EHA will distribute the prize to the next best valid entry that has not already received a prize.

15. EHA will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, consequential or indirect loss), cost or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (whether or not due to the negligence of any person) in connection with entering the competition or using the prize, except any liability which cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

16. EHA accepts no responsibility for the tax implications from prize winnings.

17. The personal information you provide will be used by EHA, and may be disclosed to its agents, to conduct the competition.
